I used to have these three wooden planters along the edges of the patio. I was sort of wondering what to put in them, plant-wise. Herbs? Flowers? Tomatoes? I'm not much of a gardener, and I confess I was kind of freaking out a little, what with all the possibilities.
Well, I can cross this off my list of things to fret about. The boxes, which it turns out were seriously rotting and about to fall apart anyway, have been disassembled by the persistent Ruby and her exciting! new! teeth! Which work great.
Aren't puppies cute?

"No! Ruby, No!"
If only she would use her power for good...
Hey Alpha-
I thought you were going to green your thumbs this summer? My Urban Garden Project has gone "triffid" on me these past few weeks with all the rain. I also just embedded a slidshow of vegetable yumminess on my blog for inspiration.
Congrats on being runner up in the blogs of the Triad. I'm off to visit Linus [Megan] in DC this weekend...feel free to pick some of my tomatoes while I'm gone.

I got intimidated. I do have some kind of mystery volunteer melon or squash growing out on the patio. Ruby has not so far destroyed it, nor even tried. But I'm terrified of the back yard.
Gorgeous slideshow, and I left you an all-purpose gazpacho recipe to play with.
Say hi to Linus (and Megan!)! I'll definitely snag some tomatoes if I'm over that way this weekend -- thanks!
And I had no idea there even was such a contest as best W-S blog, or I would have nominated yours :)
Good Ruby! Way to protect!
You can always acquire or build new planter boxes.
