As good as a prize
Or maybe even better. Sara, over at Moving Right Along, who sort of got me involved in this whole thing in the first place, and who is an all-around great gal, has made this handy "mission accomplished" badge to post. I guess I should add it to the previous post, or maybe I could put it on the sidebar somewhere. But I'm going to add another entire post, just so I can say I posted 38 times this month!!

Wow, above and beyond the call - I bet you were a heck of a seller of school cookies back in junior high?
Actually I totally sucked at cookie and candy sales. For one thing, my parents were seriously dysfunctional about food, and wouldn't buy more than one box (which they always gave away), and refused to take the sign-up sheets to work, like all the other kids' parents did. But mainly I was not interested in going door-to-door or sitting in front of a grocery store.
But I ruled the entire world of vocabulary and spelling tests, and I always finished the supplementary reading list for the whole year before school even started in the fall.
